Wandering Traveler

Welcome to Cave Counselling

The start of your journey

Hello, I'm Justin and I'd like to thank you for visiting my website. The biggest step for many is taking the plunge and making an appointment with a counsellor/therapist, believe me I've been there myself,  my only regret was wishing I'd done it a lot sooner!

Counselling got my life back on track and transformed me in so many ways. This spurred me on to become one myself and to be offer the same to others.

There are many reasons people come for counselling, each is unique to them and as valid a reason as the next persons. If you're struggling or can't make sense of what's going on for you then it's a good time to explore this in a safe, confidential way.

I am often asked what I specialise in, and my answer to this is 'you' as a unique person unlike anyone else, it's my aim to work with you to bring light and purpose back into your life.

Please don't hesitate reaching out with any questions you may have.

Thank-you Justin I have got my life back"

How I'm Working

With the current restrictions it is difficult to see clients face to face, however I am able to offer this service to those in a semi-outdoor setting with full ventilation akin to being outdoors but protected from the elements in a comfy chair!. I only do this once an assessment has taken place to see if this is a viable option. If I feel it isn't because for example you work or have contact with multiple people then online sessions will be offered.

Face to Face

My counselling room faces into a garden area with two large double doors which remain open during the session, therefore as it is winter it will be cold, so I encourage clients to bring a warm blanket and drink if required. It is not for everyone so therefore I offer online therapy too.

Online Work

Using Zoom I offer this service to clients who can't attend face to face sessions for any particular reason, it's very similar to face to face although there are a few exceptions to the type of presenting problem you may have. You'll need to have a private space to work from, a good internet connection and adequate sound.

Hygiene

All clients undertaking face to face work are required to abide by the current guidelines, hand sanitizer is provided or you can bring your own, the room is fully ventilated before and after a session and anti viral sprays are used for added protection.

It is hoped that counselling work can resume normally in the near future.
